ABOUT THE PRODUCT
Our banners are made from 13oz. vinyl. Appropriate for indoor or outdoor use, our vinyl banners are perfect for any occasion. There are many options for color, size and can come in both horizontal and vertical orientation. If banners are stored and maintained correctly, they will hold up for several years.
If the intention is to hang the banner, we suggest using the grommets that come standard with all our banners. Grommets are designed to support the weight of the banner and prevent tearing. Industrial strength zip ties are best for securing to fences, poles, railings, etc.
Orders are printed based on the artwork you provide.

BANNER FAQs
HOW SHOULD I CARE FOR MY BANNER?
Remove debris with warm soapy water and a soft rag. DO NOT use household products to clean your banner.

The best way to store your banner(s) is in the cardboard roll you receive when Western Sign and Design ships your banner(s). If you fold the banner it will cause creasing and can create issues with longevity and appearance.
WHAT IS A GROMMET?
A grommet is a brass circle that is crimped onto your banner to protect it from being worn and is also used for ease of hanging. Every banner comes with grommets.
WHAT IS A HEM?
A hem is a reinforced edge of the banner created by layering two prices of banner material to make the edges extra strong. Hems will help your banner stand up to the outdoors elements.
WHAT FORMAT DOES MY ARTWORK NEED TO BE SUBMITTED IN?
As file types: .pdf, .eps, or a high res (300dpi) jpeg or bitmap.
HOW MANY COLORS (BACKGROUNDS) ARE AVAILABLE?
We have an endless amount of colors available for your banner. Please be sure to upload your artwork to the email you receive directly after placing your order. You will receive a proof before manufacture and shipping.

When designing your banner, it is important to use contrasting colors. Text color with a contrasting background significantly increases the impact and visibility of your sign, making your text stand out. To ensure your message is visible at any distance, avoid background colors that are close to your text color. Recommended text colors include black, red, and white, which can be seen the best with a contrasting background color. Keep in mind that readability distance is impacted by color choice as well as text size.

Your banner will be shipped in a sturdy cardboard tube. This tube can also serve as storage for your banner when not in use.

ABOUT US
Western Sign and Design, LLC was established in 1973 and purchased by Nick and Ali Gilbert in 2017. Nick and Ali’s experience in the sign business began with a discussion at their kitchen table about an idea to combine their existing lawn and landscape company with a new sign company, GNT Signs and Services, started in 2015. As the business quickly grew, Nick and Ali found themselves gravitating towards the sign-side of the business, which led them to the purchase of Western Sign and Design.
